Pay It Forward Post.......
After reading The blog Fiona and Twig. I came across one of her posts, Enough. It so struck a cord with me. And I highly recommend you read it. You will see what I mean. I am soooooooo guilty of it myself. Well, as a matter of fact, just today I was feeling pretty crappy. I have been pretty frustrated at not doing very well with selling anything and a bunch of other things in my life. But mostly not being able to sell stuff I love to create. With this economy I don't know if I ever will. So, feeling pretty low and down trodden I opened up my email. My mom had sent me Fiona's Enough link. She is a Huggggggggggge fan of hers(sorry mom I'm callin you out.) But I opened it and read it and cried. Wow, someone feels the same way I am feeling right now(It's like she read my mind, scary!). Then it got me thinking..... I shouldn't sit here on my fanny wondering why the heck no one likes me or my stuff. Poop on them ( quote from my boys blame them for my vocab). So, on that note I have come up with a Pay It Forward Post. I don't think this is an original idea but I am going to go with it. I wanted to feature an artist or crafty person on my blog once a week. I would create a button to advertise that person for the week. And the pay it forward part would be you post the button on YOUR blog. So, that way people would get the word out for that up and coming artist(kinda like the giveaway adverts). People can see an example of their work and a brief bio about themselves and their creations. A definate plug boost for them and their website, blog, ect. So, bad idea, good idea? What do you think? Do I have any takers? If you would like to be featured let me know. Just email me. My email should be on the right hand side somewhere. LOL. Thanks for listening. :)

I think its a great idea..your stuff in wonderful by the way..I am selling my stuff..but I am not getting what I think I should be getting..but its a foot in the door till the economy gets better...if I break even or make a tad bit..its better then just sitting..;)
@ Michelle, thanks chickie. I try. But it can be depressing. But don't worry I am going to stay positive.
@ Gina..Thanks chickie. I know what ou mean. i have only sold one thing so far. But it's better then nothing I guess. But right now my stuff is sitting and I am afraid my fall stuff will pile up by the time I get to making winter stuff. Uggg....oh well. What can you do?
