The Christmas Season Is Upon Us
Well, it's that time of year again. The hustle and bustle of going out into the streets searching for that special gift. Not me. I am making gifts for everyone this year. So they will definately be getting something one-of-a-kind from me. And we finally managed to get all the lights up outside. I have to say that our house is the best on the block! Well, the most lit one at least. But I have to get back to making my crafts. I took a small vacation from them. But starting Monday I will try to finish what I started..

Cinni Bag Ornie
Here is a simple and easy ornie that anyone can make. I like easy.....so I used some spice bags, cinnamon sticks, some greenery, and a grungy tag. I grunged the bags and the tags and stuffed them with the cinnamon sticks and evergreens. Then I tied on the tag with a rusty pin and bell. I added the berries for some contrast against all the green. And there you have it! Simple and prim. I am going to make some more of these and maybe some other christmas ornaments. I will post the pictures of the finished ones later on. Thanks for reading.

Christmas Mason Jars
I saw this idea in Country Sampler(I just love that mag!). So, I can't take credit for it. But isn't it a great idea?! And it's so simple. Just fill a jar with whatever you want. I had some extra trees and this snowman family laying around I just put them in the jars with some fake snow. EASY!
Aren't they just lovely? Now go make one!

Still Workin Hard!
I can't believe that Thanksgiving is in about two weeks! I have to get on the ball and start getting my menu together so I know what things I will need. Not only do I have to do that, I have to finish my projects and crafts so I can start selling them. I have a few lined up but I want to make sure that I have plenty to sell. And I have to finish my site. I think I am going to go with another website company though. The one I am using right now is not working for me. But I hope that once I do get it up and running I can sell alot of things to make some extra cash for Christmas. And Christmas is only 40 days away! Boy, I have got things to do for a lifetime. Thank goodness I don't have friends or family that live close by and want to come over because my house is a mess. I have been putting off house work in order to finish all of my projects. Oh well, back to work I go.

This is my cat Uno. He just loves the tree. He thinks he is a lion on the prowl. I will not tell him different. He is too cute. Anyway, I am completely frustrated over my website. Uggg. It is taking me so long to get it set up. I just want to get it done so I can start selling my stuff. I don't have all the time in the world to be at the computer. I am a mother of three boys. Need I say more? I don't know when I will get finished but I hope soon....like tomorrow. Oh well, had to vent. But I guess I better get back on fixing it and setting it up. I will let you guys know when it is up. Thanks to everyone who is following me!

The Decorating Has Begun!!!!
Yay! Christmas. I love Christmas. I got two new trees. One for the bedroom
and one for the kitchen. I am doing a bird and seed theme for my bedroom and a cookie, candy one in the kitchen. Also, we took up the BIG tree for the living room. What a nightmare. The lights on it do not work so we had to take them all off. It was a pre-lit tree and the lights should work. I guess that is what you get for getting a Martha Stewart tree on sale. Oh well, it was fun. LOL.

Christmas is coming!!!!
Here is my radio flyer I used this summer. I think for Christmas this year I am going to put a tree in it. Not too sure yet. I love Christmas and can't wait to get started on the decorating. I am going to go out and look for a sled to put on my front porch this year. And some old skates to put in a wreath that I might later sell. Speaking of selling..........I don't know where to begin. I am confused as to which venue I should start with. Should I go with the internet and sell on ebay or on my own website? Or should I start a local following and sell at flea markets and shows? Or should I do all the above? I tried to join forums and get some sort of help or ideas but no one seems to want to help a newbie out. So RUDE! I am going to try to find out by myself and log it down on my blog so others out there who are in my position can learn from my mistakes and my triumphs. I think I decided on ebay for now and we are planning on a yard sale. I am gonna sneak some of my stuff in there also to get an idea of what will sell. Fingers crossed I sell stuff. It's hard to jump right into it for me because I want people to like the stuff I make. I know I do. Rejection sucks. LOL. But you never know unless you try right? So, here goes! I am gonna try. Wish me luck!

This is one of my creations I had made with my grandmother's old flag that I foulnd in her hallway closet. She has recently passed away and I am very sentimental when it comes to items like this. I just couldn't let anyone throw it away so I incorperated it into my wreath. Now every fourth I can put out her flag and think of all the summers I spent at her house. I do have alot of her stuff around my house now. So, it is like she is always with me. I will be posting more pictures. i have already started decorating for Christmas. Yes, I know it's early but everyone who knows me knows I love Christmas! Expect alot of pictures! LOL.
