Just some thoughts from my mind.....

I know this post has nothing to do with prims. But I just wanted to write what was in my mind. I am actually writing to you from my phone because I still have no internet or house. Lol. I have been going stir crazy with not being able to create. I miss my sewing machine so much! Lol. But it has also given me so much time to reflect on myself and on others. I find with myself I need to challenge myself more artistically. I need to push myself more and not be afraid of what others may think or say. I need to stop being naive in believing everyone wants to be my friend. As I have learned quite the hard way. And that disappointments are a way of life. I may not be the most popular or the best artist there is. But hey, I know I am to me. And for now, that is good enough for me. Life is way to short to sweat the small stuff. So, I am not gonna sweat a thing.

On a brighter note..... We are looking to get into our house by the end of this month. I am really hoping to get things nice and decorated for my new picture trail. My goal for this year is to get into country sampler or a primitive place magazine. I am really hoping I can get my house featured this year. I can dream big, right?

I know what you mean about creating Gen-I can only last so long before I am back at my machine - I can't imagine what it must be like for you. Hope the move to the new house comes quickly for you - We all can't wait to see the pictures once you have decorated!

Hope you get into your house soon, I was without internet, phone and cable, then electricity for a few days, I was miserable. I have to have a needle in my hands, so know what you are going thru.

Gen -

I know how you feel. I'm glad you're going to do what will please you. Believe me, it makes you a lot happier, though it's still a struggle at times as to why some people are such jerks about it.

Anyway, I'm quite sure once you get settled, you'll be featured in ANY magazine you want to be!

Hugs,
Tracy

I so know about sewing machine withdrawal. Heck I have withdrawals when I don't have something to work on.

It's funny you would say you want your home to be in a magazine. I thought for awhile I too wanted that, but you know like you said as an artist... it's wonderful to me and I don't care what other people think. I am just as happy to post it on my Picturetrail or my blog.

I hope you can get into your new home soon.
