Look what I got!

I joined in on the swap hosted by Wendy over at Ravenwood Whimzies. And let me tell you, it was so much fun! My swap partner was Susan over at Clucklebees. She made me the cutest pair of sheep! And the cutest ornie of a shepard in the field with his sheep! Susan, I don't know if you follow my blog. But I just want to say how thrilled I was to get a box from you! You make the best prim items! I just adore your work and I am so happy I was partnered up with you. I am so sorry I didn't post this sooner. I have been under the weather. My sinuses have been acting poopy and I feel horrible. But it is a little better today. So, I wanted to share with you all my swap.  Thank you so much Susan!!!! Plus, I joined in on another swap over at Prim Pals. I am anxiously awaiting for that package to arrive. We have sooooooooooo many talented girls over at the forum. I can't wait to see what everyone made so I can put them on my tree.

Also, if you haven't got a chance to head over to Prim Pals you should. I am hosting a special giveaway over there. It is for one of my snowman that I made from a Wooden Nail pattern. He is too cute to pass up. So, if you would like to enter my giveaway please head on over to Prim Pals sign up and post your favorite Christmas memory in the giveaway thread. And that's it!

In other news, I found what I want for Christmas. A Pie Safe. Yup, you heard right. While some girls want diamonds, and furs. I want a pie safe. LOL. My husband wants to buy me a pair of boots I spied in the store instead. But I want the pie safe. And I figure, I can have the pie safe longer then a pair of boots. I might only be able to wear them twice then probably give them away. While a pie safe.................I can have forever. LOL.  And the owner is only asking for 100 for it!!!! I am sold. So, if you happen to see my husband tell him, no, convince him he needs to get me the pie safe. A happy home is a happy wife; right? Oh, and this weekend was pretty busy for me too. But we managed to squeeze in finding a pair of chairs for the table. I needed just two more and found these gorgeous comb back windsor chairs for 40 dollars for the pair!!!!!
Excuse my messy table.
I love them and they are so comfortable! The kids love them too and fight for the King's chair,as they like to call it. But that is what I have been up too. I am also trying to pull out my Christmas stuff. I want to make a picture trail and show all of you my holiday decorations and gatherings. I am slowly working on that. So, in the mean time. I will be busy. My business is pickin up a little bit so I have some orders coming in. Yay! And this weekend I will be trying my hand at selling at a flea market*Gulp*. I hope I sell some things. They are looking kinda sad at my house. They need good homes. LOL. But anyways, thanks for dropping by and listen to me ramble on and on. I hope I didn't bore ya.

Have a great hump day!!!!

Awww...thanks girls. You guys are the best. :)LOL@ Tisha. I am planning on making some pumpkin pie. Maybe I should throw in the line "Wouldn't this pie look divine in a PIE SAFE?". Well, fingers crossed he says ok. All I want for christmas is a primitive pie safe. :) Thanks again everyone. Your comments made my day!

Good morning, Gen,
I'm so sorry to hear you're feeling icky from a sinus infection. Gosh, I hate those things. Nothing worse then not being able to get a good breath and feeling all fuzzy brained and stuffed up. Yuck. I sure do hope you'll be doing much better soon.

I am so happy that you got your ornies and that you liked them so much. :-) I was hoping they'd gotten to you safe and sound. Wonderful. I just now became a follower of your blog. It's darling and I love your prims too! I am going to go over and enter the giveaway at Prim Pals after I leave you this comment.

Oh, and I think your husband should most definitely buy you that pie safe. My goodness, it's absolutely wonderful and it's a fabulous price for one, too, Gen. He simply must buy it for you. How do we convince him? Hmmmm... we could start an email storm and shower him with: "Oh but Gen would ever so much love the pie safe. It's such a lovely gift. She'll get so much more enjoyment and happiness out of it then a silly ole pair of boots." :-)

I do hope you get it for Christmas. Leave many "hints"... and if that doesn't work, write it on his forehead in permanent ink while he's sleeping. He'll get the point.;-)
LOL

I hope you have yourself a very beautiful and Merry Christmas this year, Gen, and get better soon!
Hugs,
Susan @ CluckleBees

Oh phooey! I keep trying to activate my account at Prim Pals and it won't go through. I've tried it a number of times, but I just can't get it to register. :-( Maybe it will work later today.

Susan's sheep are adorable! I love their sweet little faces.

Great price on those awesome chairs!

I sometimes sell at a local flea market. It's indoors and open every Saturday. I only go when it's really hot or really cold. I've learned that if it's a nice weekend that people will not be there. I always do well but it's so much work to set up and tear down. I hope you do well enough to continue it!
